In today’s world stress has become a normal way of life for lots of people, in severe cases it can lead to mental and other health related issues if not treated. Stress is related to the mind and how we perceive life, and as a Cognitive Hypnotherapist I can work with you to change your state of mind. Having a clearer state of mind will allow you to focus more easily to find the best solution to your needs.
Life can be harder at times than others, like that feeling at night when you try to sleep and have too much information filling your brain leading to sleepless nights. Little things can also build up over time making it confusing as to what the problem is.
One of the main causes is fear of the future and the unknown ahead of this or looking into past events in too much detail for prolonged periods of time. For some this can be exciting but for others can be debilitating.
Anxiety is the bodies coping mechanism when dealing with danger, however in this case the fear is being experienced physically, this makes the bodies fight or flight response work causing the body to react: sweaty palms, dry mouth, heart beating fast, body sweats. This is what allows the body to respond and run from the dangerous situation. The interesting thing is we sometimes run away or sometimes don’t feeling silly as we know we are not really in danger. This can lead to anxiety attacks and it is my aim to help you to deal with this as it can be very scary. The work I can do with you can be really helpful in giving you your power back and learning how to deal with anxiety in a better way.
